Job description

Project Officer – Employment & Skills

Hours: 37.0 Hours per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2026

We have two fixed term Project Officer opportunities within our Employment & Skills Team. As a Project Officer, you will support the improvement of employment, learning, and skills outcomes through effective project management and monitoring.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of successful project management
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight reporting requirements
  • Strong communication skills, from presenting data analysis to writing reports
  • Creative and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve outcomes
Project Officer – Youth Trailblazer

In this role, you will work on the Youth Trailblazer project, which provides employer grants for work experience opportunities for individuals aged 18-21 years.

Additional Role Details

You will support effective delivery and reporting across various initiatives, including the Solihull Careers Hub, specialized support, and a universal offer.
