This role reports to the Design Factory Manager and involves supporting the delivery of innovative projects through finance administration, project assurance, marketing coordination, and event organisation.

About the Role

Design Factory Birmingham at Aston University is a state-of-the-art facility designed to inspire innovation and design. It brings together students, staff, industry partners, and entrepreneurs to collaborate, learn, and create solutions for real-world problems.

Design Factory Aston University has been awarded a UK Shared Prosperity Fund to support the 'Design Factory Shropshire' project, and we seek a Project Officer.

The successful candidate will work within the Design Factory team to achieve project goals, requiring sound administrative and communication skills to ensure operational and financial compliance.

Reporting to the Design Factory Manager, you will manage finance and project assurance processes and support marketing, event organization, and business development. The ability to communicate and organise people of all ages is a valuable asset.
