Job description

Project Officer-Children’s Services needed in Barnsley

The rate is £17.79ph PAYE

This is a temporary role.

The reference number is: 0009 F317 / 1

The successful candidate will support both small and large projects across Children’s Services. They will bring project skills and experience, to hit the ground running; in this role, talent for communication will be as important as skills in organising and problem solving.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with project management and coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Ensuring that projects are effectively planned and managed within a formal programme and project management framework.
  3. Providing advice and guidance in relation to projects, considering the complex requirements of people-related issues.
  4. Assisting in ensuring that key milestones and information are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
