Job Introduction

Are you ready to drive seamless delivery of our revenue programme? At Wythenshawe Hospital, we are looking for two Project Support Officers to join our Estates team. In this role, you will ensure all planned works are completed on time with accurate invoicing. You’ll manage unplanned maintenance for lifecycle assets, supporting cost recovery and asset reliability.

You will collaborate closely with Service Operations on the annual building condition report to shape the lifecycle programme. You will coordinate all site activities—access, permits, customer liaison, and subcontractor supervision—to ensure smooth, efficient delivery.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate the annual Project Co Lifecycle programme, ensuring safe, supervised completion of all asset lines and capture of site attendance costs.
  • Deliver AP services across disciplines including LV, Ventilation, Working at Height, and Hot Works as required by skillset.
  • Manage the annual Service Provider Lifecycle programme, ensuring safe, supervised completion of works with full cost capture.
  • Respond to Trust Variation enquiries and Small Works Requests within contractual timescales, ensuring offers are fair, reasonable, and compliant with clinical and regulatory needs.
  • Support Service Operations with annual Lifecycle programme preparation and building condition reporting, highlighting asset condition issues to inform funding.
  • Collaborate closely with site Operations and Trust representatives to manage building and services projects, minimizing clinical disruption.
  • Act as liaison between key stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery and estates development.
  • Ensure all works comply with safety standards and maintain adequate supervision throughout delivery.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in designing and implementing complex M&E projects and building fabric works.
  • Experience working within a Healthcare PFI environment.
  • Experience working successfully with accrediting and regulatory bodies and implementing associated programmes.
  • Experience in schedules of rates & estimating.
