More About The Role

As Project Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to create warm, safe, and affordable homes while driving forward our sustainability goals. This role is all about making things happen behind the scenes, ensuring our energy efficiency and retrofit programmes run smoothly and meet strict compliance standards. You’ll manage data, compile evidence for audits, and coordinate reporting to funding bodies, helping us deliver projects like the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund that improve lives and tackle fuel poverty.

You’ll also support wider asset strategy activities, from property disposals to lease management, and work closely with colleagues, contractors, and residents to keep projects on track. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to juggle priorities will make you an essential part of a team committed to achieving EPC C for all homes by 2030 and shaping the future of housing in South Yorkshire.

  • Experience in project administration, compliance monitoring, or financial tracking is desirable.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and retrofit standards (PAS 2035, EPC) is a bonus, but training will be provided.
