Job summary

MCS Group has partnered with a leading public sector organisation to deliver a significant digital project. The role focuses on planning, coordination and delivery, working with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 6 qualification and have experience coordinating projects, preferably in a digital/IT environment, with strong organisational and communication skills and solid MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent).
• Experience supporting, coordinating or contributing to projects, ideally within a digital/IT environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with stakeholders at different levels.
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of a key digital project.
• Assist with project documentation, plans, actions, risks, issues and change management.
• Work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and project stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
• Assist with testing, implementation, training and other project activities as required.
• Support project meetings and governance processes, ensuring actions and deliverables are monitored.
• Assist with monitoring project budgets, timescales and deliverables.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

This role would suit a project professional with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and supporting projects through to successful delivery.

The Role:

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of a key digital project.

Essential:
