Job description

At BakerHicks, we excel in the coordination and delivery of technically challenging projects. We know that budgets are always limited and construction schedules are tight – our project and programme management teams have the experience to balance these resources, keeping stakeholders informed and the delivery on track.

As new and exciting projects land, we have an opportunity for a Project Office Administrator to join the team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of this extending.

This role is based onsite daily at one of BakerHicks' key clients, and will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction management team within a fast-paced EPCM project environment.

The role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure the smooth operation of the project office.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating efficient communication and coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in office management/ administration, and able to coordinate within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interaction with engineering and construction teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with document management and processes (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
