Job summary

Finning is seeking a Project Manager in the United Kingdom to deliver complex engineering programmes while ensuring cost, quality, safety and compliance. You will drive performance through effective resource management, risk control and cross‑functional collaboration with customers, engineering teams, sales, procurement and senior leadership.

The role requires leading multiple projects, managing budgets, timelines and subcontractors, and supporting bid activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ project management experience.
• Experience in electric power, oil & gas, mechanical/electrical systems, or process control equipment.
• Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of CDM, HSE and QA systems.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• PM qualifications desirable (PRINCE2, PMP).

The Project Manager will ensure all projects meet agreed standards for cost, quality, safety and compliance, while driving performance through effective resource management, risk control and cross‑functional collaboration. You will be accountable for the successful execution of complex project programmes, working closely with customers, engineering teams, sales, procurement and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ relevant project management experience.
• Background in electric power, oil & gas, mechanical/electrical systems or process control equipment.
• Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of CDM, HSE and QA systems.
• Skilled in MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Commercially aware, analytical, customer‑focused and detail‑driven.
• Project management qualifications desirable (PRINCE2, PMP).
