  • Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensuring our frontline engineers are working in line with company policies and procedures through audits.
  • Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all the range of operational activities, including the Construction, Repair, Connections & Competency processes.
  • Attending planning meetings, such as those with Highway Authorities, and coordination meetings.
  • Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders.
  • Undertaking standby duties as necessary (with appropriate training provided)

What You Will Need

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the gas industry, with knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Demonstrable team leadership, managerial, coaching, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicators at all levels and being able to successfully engage with all stakeholders, customers, contractors and your own team.
  • Flexibility with a ‘can do’ enthusiastic approach and strive to outperform targets.
  • The candidate must have a flexible approach to work and hold a full and valid driving license.
