The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects, combining project management and design management to provide comprehensive services to clients in the public and private sectors.

We have several exciting vacancies for talented Project Managers to join our teams across the UK in our expanding Water Infrastructure market.

These roles offer excellent opportunities for career-driven individuals who want to take the next step and be responsible for design projects from inception to completion. Positions may involve a mix of agile working from our hub offices and time spent at client sites.

Candidates should be practicing Project Managers with project delivery experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. You will be responsible for delivering schemes within budget and schedule, acting as the primary contact for clients, with support from the PDP team.

Your Purpose:

• Deliver project management and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure clarity of requirements, scope, programme, costs, constraints, risks, and interfaces across the team.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Implement governance arrangements in line with business policies to ensure successful outcomes. Manage projects within agreed budgets.
• Negotiate and administer change controls per contract, manage risks throughout the project.
• Monitor and report project performance against programme, quality, financial, and KPI targets both internally and externally.
• As a project leader, build, motivate, guide, and develop project teams.
• Deliver projects in accordance with AtkinsRéalis values: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence.

What you can bring:

• An Engineering background with experience in design management, project management, and contract administration.
• Experience in a Project Management role.
• Water industry experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working with contractor organizations, ideally in a Design & Build environment, and familiarity with various construction contracts, especially NEC3 or 4.
• Experience managing design projects from inception to completion.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, flexible attitude, adaptability, and positive response to challenges.
