The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects, combining project management and design management to provide comprehensive services to clients in the public and private sectors.

We have several exciting vacancies for talented Project Managers to join our teams across the UK in our expanding Water Infrastructure market.

These roles offer excellent opportunities for career-driven individuals to take the next step and oversee design projects from inception to completion. Positions may involve a mix of agile working from our hub offices and time at client sites.

You will be a practicing Project Manager with project delivery experience, ideally in a consultancy environment. Working with the support of the PDP team, you will be responsible for delivering schemes on time and within budget, serving as the primary contact for clients.

Your Purpose:

• Deliver project management and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure clarity of requirements, scope, schedule, costs, constraints, risks, and interfaces across the team.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Implement governance arrangements in line with business policies to ensure robust outcomes. Manage projects within agreed budgets.
• Negotiate and administer change control as per contract. Manage risks throughout the project.
• Monitor and report on project performance against schedule, quality, financial, and KPI targets, both internally and externally.
• Build, motivate, guide, and develop project teams as a leader.
• Deliver projects in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Values: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence.

What you can bring:

• An Engineering background with experience in design management, project management, and contract administration.
• Experience in a Project Management role.
• Experience in the water industry is preferable but not essential.
• Experience working with Contractor organizations, ideally in a Design & Build environment, and familiarity with contracts like NEC3 or 4.
• Experience managing design projects from start to finish.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, flexible attitude with adaptability and positive response to challenges.
