Overview:Brand new opportunity for a Water Mitigation Project Manager to join a growing restoration team based in Kent, WA. This leadership role is critical to driving high standards across emergency services including water mitigation, dry-outs, demolitions, and board-ups. The Role:This is a supervisory position focused on managing water mitigation and related emergency service projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing job execution, team development, and customer interactions. Initially managing one direct report, the role is geared toward expanding the service line and developing technician capabilities. Success in this position means delivering timely, high-quality restoration work while fostering a high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute water mitigation and emergency service projects including dry-outs, board-ups, and demolitions
Hire, train, and develop field technicians
Write and manage estimates using Xactimate software
Ensure quality service delivery in coordination with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams
Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
Represent the company’s values in all customer interactions
Contribute to departmental growth through team leadership and performance oversight
Requirements:
Proven experience in water mitigation or restoration services
Proficiency in Xactimate is required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage field teams and customer relationships
Understanding of emergency service billing practices
Nice to Have:
IICRC Certifications such as WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or OCT
Experience in roles such as Crew Chief, Lead Water Technician, Operations Manager, or Restoration Manager
Salary: $80,000–$115,000 total compensation, plus commissions and quarterly bonuses
Location: In-office role based in Kent/Seattle Washington State, U.S.
