Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business, supporting our clients in delivering a range of water projects and programmes across our Central South region.

Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, this role will suit Project Managers from a civil engineering background, ideally with previous water sector experience. NEC accreditation is also preferred.

At Turner & Townsend, Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending on the complexity of the project. Typically, projects range from £1m to £10m. When supporting, the project size may be larger.

  • Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
  • Support on major Project Management Commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
  • Ensure client objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Manage projects to quality standards, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Deliver projects aligning with client objectives and contractual conditions.
  • Lead project teams effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage line responsibilities effectively where applicable.
  • Identify and act on business development and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor internal financial status of projects.
  • Communicate key information clearly and retain data appropriately.

Qualifications

  • NEC (3/4) accreditation (preferred).
