Job description

Your new company
Our client, a high-profile main contractor based in the West Midlands area, is seeking a Project Manager to join their business. This established and multi-accredited organisation specialises in the delivery of wastewater treatment works directly for Severn Trent Water with sites in the West Midlands regions. This is a temporary contract based out of their Birmingham office with site travel as and when required.

Your new role
As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained

Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience managing projects from inception through to completion in the water (clean and/or waste) industry
  • Working knowledge of NEC suite of contracts
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence.
