About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Project Manager to join a dynamic clean water capital delivery team on a
contract basis. You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects across the North West - including mains renewals, pipe maintenance, and network upgrades.
This role is ideal for a contractor with strong utilities or water sector experience, looking to add value to critical infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, delivery, and handover of clean water projects
- Deliver works using techniques such as slip lining, pipe bursting, and open cut
- Maintain programme delivery to time, cost, quality, and safety standards
- Oversee contractor performance and stakeholder engagement
- Interpret and review project designs, challenging and advising where necessary
- Ensure all activities comply with SHE and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience managing clean water or utilities projects
- Knowledge of mains renewal techniques and construction methods
- SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification
- Understanding of NEC contract frameworks
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery
- Full UK driving licence
