Utilities / Civils and Feasibility of Designs

Key Skills Required for This Role

Important

Our client, a prominent player in the rail sector, is seeking a Project Manager specializing in Utilities to join a key contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage and coordinate with Design teams and Area Project Managers.
  2. Establish key Utilities diversionary works designs and interface with critical third-party stakeholders including National Highways and Network Rail.
  3. Develop and manage the sequencing programme to coordinate and phase utilities work.
  4. Collaborate with planning resources to establish and present high-level logistical planning.
  5. Own and manage the critical path for the Utility programme of work.
  6. Support the wider Utilities Team and escalate matters where necessary.
  7. Manage contractual (early) Utilities service provisions including feasibility studies, design delivery, and planning.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experience in civil engineering within the utilities and rail sectors.
  2. Sound working knowledge of the Utilities sectors.
  3. Strong design and programme coordination skills.
  4. CDM 2015 training.
  5. Project management training.
  6. Ability to form strong interpersonal relationships and excel in organisational tasks.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail and proven self-motivation.
