We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager for our UK&I Transmission and Distribution (T&D) department. Our T&D team delivers HV design for electrical power projects at transmission and distribution voltage levels. The role focuses on managing pre-construction activities, including construction, for large-scale high voltage infrastructure, grid connections, and private networks at voltages typically between 132kV and 400kV.

Key projects involve feasibility studies, optioneering, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and design assurance on substations and transmission infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing mid- to large-sized projects
  • Building successful client and internal relationships
  • Supporting project budgets, programs, and overall performance
  • Assisting with governance, reporting, and invoicing
  • Reviewing project deliverables and performing quality control
  • Contributing to proposal development

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Experience as a designer or project engineer/manager
  • Experience working within design teams
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in client interface environments
  • Ideally, experience in electrical power projects from feasibility to detailed design
  • Understanding of electrical plant operation, controls, and systems such as transformers, reactors, STATCOM, switchgear, HVDC, HVAC, and protection & control
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
