Job Description:

Role: Project Manager

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days a week)

Location: London

Contract Role

Responsibilities:

  • Build project governance, including documentation and acting as PMO.
  • Lead trading control enhancements, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support governance frameworks and control standards across teams.
  • Collaborate with RAC, traders, risk, and operational teams for control implementation.
  • Review and improve control standards with NFR.
  • Maintain a trading control inventory.
  • Report progress, risks, and milestones to senior management.
  • Ensure initiatives meet UK regulatory standards and risk management best practices.
  • Assist BAU team with documentation and training materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven project management experience in investment banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of trading control frameworks and control improvements.
  • Effective collaboration with RAC, Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks for trading controls.
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in governance, risk, and control implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.
