Who are we looking for?
A highly motivated and skilled individual who is determined to play an active role in improving the timetable for our passengers and freight users. Strong project management skills and experience, including organization and communication skills. Within Timetable Production, we are the team responsible for the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of timetable delivery and development, focusing on technology, data, people, and processes to achieve our vision of delivering high-performing timetables for passengers and freight end users.
What does the average day look like?
On an average day, you will deliver projects safely, on time, and with quality. This involves project monitoring across timetable development, data, and documentation in accordance with the Network Code.
Additionally, you will lead improvement initiatives focusing on timetable enhancements through technology, data, processes, and people development, working with various stakeholders and customers.
·Expert knowledge of train planning systems and processes, including relevant sections of Access Conditions.
·Detailed understanding of the railway industry, contractual matrix, and regulatory regime.
·Ability to demonstrate understanding of train service structures and the implications of timetable changes.
