About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of telematics projects across the UK and occasionally in Europe. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in telematics implementation, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering innovative technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery of telematics solutions, including hardware and software deployments, integrations, and customer onboarding.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, sales, and customer support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including plans, SOWs, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, data protection regulations, and internal quality processes.
  • Coordinate logistics and installations with field engineers and third-party providers.
  • Support pre-sales activities by contributing to project scoping, proposals, and client presentations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing telematics or IoT-related projects, ideally in the automotive, logistics, or fleet management sectors.
  • Strong understanding of telematics systems, including GPS tracking, vehicle diagnostics, and data analytics platforms.
  • Experience delivering projects in the UK, with exposure to European markets being a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across UK as required.

Beneficial:

  • PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms or cloud-based telematics solutions.
