Job summary

JAM MANAGEMENT Consultancy Ltd in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own technology and software delivery from initiation to delivery, manage client relationships, and ensure projects run on time, within budget and to standard.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate virtual delivery, develop plans, risk registers and change controls, and support bids and customer demos. This is a permanent, full-time role offering opportunities to work with AI/ML and cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent qualification.
• Proven project management experience within the technology, software or IT sector.
• Experience managing projects across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Understanding of software lifecycles, cloud platforms and/or hardware/software solutions.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets, costs and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and deliver under pressure.
• Confident leading teams and managing customer expectations.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager for our client, an established technology business delivering complex software and technology solutions.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery, manage customer relationships and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of technology and software projects, ensuring agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional and virtual project teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing expectations, communications and escalations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, risk registers and change controls.
• Oversee project testing, milestones and successful delivery.
• Manage project budgets, revenue forecasts, costs and billing plans.
• Support sales and presales teams with bids, tenders and customer presentations.
• Identify delivery risks, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualifications
