Job description

Energy Aspects has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Technology team, acting as an operational extension of the Head of Technology, responsible for executing critical technology and business initiatives.

This role is pivotal in coordinating and executing complex projects spanning engineering delivery, M&A activity, enterprise software solutions, and addressing technology challenges outside the immediate focus of the Head of Technology.

The ideal candidate will be someone comfortable operating autonomously, rapidly understanding technical and business contexts, and effectively translating strategic goals into actionable projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of Technology and executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
  • Deliver impactful projects within committed timeframes, managing the end-to-end lifecycle: scoping, prioritisation, planning, reporting, finalising.
  • Act as primary point of contact for projects or issues outside the Head of Technology's immediate focus.

Requirements

  • Proven experience independently managing complex technology projects from inception to completion, maintaining clear oversight and reporting.
  • Exceptional ability to quickly digest technical concepts at detail level and effectively incorporate into strategic planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence in interacting directly with executive leadership.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, scaling technology or data-centric companies.
  • Strong proficiency using project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Linear) and collaborative platforms, including the MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with modern software development lifecycles and project management methodologies.
  • Practical experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, Zapier) or Python.
  • Experience in technology or data-focused M&A activities, specifically in due diligence and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling, having managed a project that leveraged or integrated AI as part of a solution.
  • Previous exposure to enterprise software lifecycle: assessment, procurement, deployment, and change management.
  • Background or interest in energy markets, data analytics, or intelligence sectors.
