Energy Aspects has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Technology team. This role acts as an operational extension of the Head of Technology, responsible for executing critical technology and business initiatives.

This position is pivotal in coordinating and executing complex projects, including engineering delivery, M&A activity, enterprise software solutions, and addressing technology challenges beyond the immediate focus of the Head of Technology.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously, quickly understanding technical and business contexts, and translating strategic goals into actionable projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Technology and executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Deliver impactful projects within set timeframes, managing the entire lifecycle: scoping, prioritisation, planning, reporting, and finalisation.
• Act as the primary contact for projects or issues outside the immediate focus of the Head of Technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex technology projects independently from start to finish, with clear oversight and reporting.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and incorporate them into strategic planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in interacting with executive leadership.
• Experience in fast-paced, scaling technology or data-centric companies.
• Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Linear) and collaborative platforms, including MS Office.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and project management methodologies.
• Practical experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, Zapier) or Python.
• Experience with energy or data-focused M&A activities, especially due diligence and integration.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and managing projects that leverage AI solutions.
• Experience with enterprise software lifecycle: assessment, procurement, deployment, and change management.
• Interest or background in energy markets, data analytics, or related sectors.
