Requirements

The Tech & Public Policy Program at the McCourt School seeks a motivated Project Manager to oversee two training cohorts for the Congressional Digital Government Fellowship, a grant-funded project ending in August 2026. The project pilots bipartisan fellowships for Congressional staff to explore emerging technology's role in public policy, running from June 2025 to August 2026.

The part-time Program Manager will handle daily operations, including recruiting fellows, coordinating sessions, and communicating with stakeholders.

Duties include:
  • Manage recruitment of congressional staff fellows.
  • Oversee daily fellowship operations, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Track project metrics and resources.
  • Assist in curriculum design, scheduling, and guest speaker arrangements.
  • Organize social and networking events.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts.
  • Coordinate outreach and manage schedules and meetings.
Work Interactions

The Project Manager reports to Michelle De Mooy, TPP Director, and collaborates with faculty to develop curriculum, work with external stakeholders, and support project execution. Administrative support is provided by TPP staff.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
  • Experience working on Capitol Hill.
  • Background in technology policy and interest in social justice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about impactful policy projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Salary Range

$22.88 - $42.10 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
