1. Manage and drive Smart Meter projects within the Smart Meter operations area. The role requires working effectively in environments where detailed requirements may initially be unclear, collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information while progressing the project.
2. Report to the Smart Meter operations head, including presenting business cases at program board meetings, managing budget approvals, and developing implementation roadmaps.
3. Support face-to-face meetings as required, adhering to standard UK office hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
4. Utilize project assurance roles and delegations within the agreed reporting structures.
5. Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk reporting, and mitigation strategies.
6. Manage stakeholder relationships efficiently.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Experience required:
Minimum of 15+ years of total IT experience, with prior experience as a Project Manager for Smart Meter projects.
