What Will The Role Involve?

Bethell currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our No Dig Solutions division, with the main task of taking responsibility for the performance of our No Dig business unit site-based operations.

As our new Project Manager, you will work collaboratively with the client, design partners, internal staff, sub-contractors, operatives and other professionals and be responsible for all aspects of health and safety, quality and environmental assurance, contract administration, cost control, planning, communication and people management.

As the Project Manager for our No Dig projects, you will develop and ensure implementation of robust safe systems of work, and implement all necessary safety measures on site to ensure that workplaces are safe. You will ensure that site management personnel carry out regular on-site inspections to ensure quality standards are being maintained. This will include investigation, reporting and closing out all non-conformance issues. In your position, it is a main duty to motivate the site workforce accordingly to ensure that the project meets its objectives.

What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a project management role
  2. Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation
  3. NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D accreditation
  4. SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)
  5. SMSTS 5-day accreditation
  6. Degree or HND equivalent in civil engineering
  7. Experience in excavation, shafts, tunnels, auger bore, excavations, concreting
  8. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Project software is essential.
