About the role / the team:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager who would be required to manage multiple new and existing client implementation projects within the Debit and Prepaid Project Management team under Card and Money Movement. You would be joining a very collaborative and supportive team of 7 Project Managers.
What you will be doing / Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple client projects of various sizes against agreed budgets and timescales from contract signature through to live production
Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
Maintain and develop business relationships with assigned clients through project kick off meetings, and ongoing project meetings presenting a professional image
Monitor all aspects of the project to ensure it meets company standards, methodologies and quality assurance guidelines
Control, monitor and report progress against plan and take corrective action as necessary in order to meet delivery obligations
Manages project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams
Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring / Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar software delivery project management role
Experience in a customer facing role using consultative skills
Experience of working on multiple client projects simultaneously
Knowledge of financial services industry; within the debit & pre-paid card market would be considered a distinct advantage
Experience with platform and/or data migration projects would be considered a distinct advantage
Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
Good working knowledge of MS Office products
Good working knowledge of MS Project
Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines
Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely differing viewpoints
Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients
Ability to set clear expectations with internal resources and build high morale among team members
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
Knowledge of company’s products and services
