Job Description

Within the South West region, our infrastructure team has strong positions in Transport and Utilities. Over the past years, we have seen significant growth and have a range of opportunities to develop experience across various projects and programmes. We are looking to speak with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to help us deliver high-profile projects in Client PM roles & NEC ECC PM roles.

We seek passionate individuals with a positive outlook, seeking development opportunities, and possessing a strong technical foundation and experience.

Job Objectives
  • Managing and administering NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts
  • Leading and developing project teams or work streams within larger projects
  • Ensuring high-quality delivery on client assignments
  • Building long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Developing solutions, supporting tools, and methods
  • Collaborating with service line teams, account teams, and specialists
  • Communicating effectively to ensure efficient, collaborative, and quality delivery
Desired Experience
  • Experience working with UK Government and Local Authority organisations, particularly Flood Risk Asset Management Authorities, Environment Agency, or Water Companies
  • Managing small to medium-sized teams in collaboration with other organisations
  • Project and programme management experience in infrastructure projects from strategic planning to delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse personalities
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects
  • Delivering projects in complex environments with safety and environmental considerations
  • Analytical, numerical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Delivering high-quality outputs within deadlines
  • Motivating teams and working under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with procurement and NEC contracts (advantageous but not essential)
  • Managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on civil engineering projects
  • Applying lessons learned and knowledge capture as standard practice
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Experience in Engineering/Asset Management
  • Driving license preferred for travel requirements
Qualifications
  • Project management certification (APM or PRINCE2)
  • Degree or HND in engineering or construction
  • Professional qualification with ICE, CIWEM, APM, or similar (advantageous)
  • NEC3 or NEC4 PM Accreditation
  • CITB Site Management Safety Training (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving License
