Job Description

Within the South West region, our infrastructure team has strong positions in Transport and Utilities. Over the past years, we have seen significant growth and have a range of opportunities to develop experience across various projects and programmes. We are looking to speak with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to help us assist our clients in delivering high-profile projects across a variety of roles including Client PM and NEC ECC PM roles.

We seek passionate individuals with a positive outlook, seeking development opportunities, and possessing a strong foundation of technical understanding and experience.

Job Objectives

• Managing and administrating NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts;
• Managing, leading, and developing project teams or work streams as part of larger projects and delivering results through others;
• Being responsible for high-quality delivery on client assignments;
• Building long-term trusted relationships with clients;
• Developing solutions and supporting tools and methods;
• Liaising with service line teams, account teams, and specialists;
• Communicating effectively to ensure efficient, collaborative, and quality delivery.

Desired Experience

• Experience working with UK Government and Local Authority organisations, especially Flood Risk Asset Management Authorities, Environment Agency, and Water Companies;
• Experience managing small to medium-sized teams in collaborative efforts;
• Experience in project and/or programme management, adding value from planning through delivery in infrastructure projects;
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse personalities and organizations;
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects;
• Experience ensuring safety and environmental responsibility in complex environments;
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to understand and solve complex problems;
• Capability to produce high-quality outputs within tight deadlines;
• High drive, commitment, and motivation to work under pressure;
• Excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Proficiency in preparing presentations and participating in meetings with senior clients;
• Experience with procurement and NEC contract management is advantageous;
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors in civil engineering;
• Knowledge of lessons learned and knowledge capture practices;
• Understanding of CDM Regulations;
• Experience in Engineering/Asset Management;
• A valid driving license is preferred as some driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Project management certification (APM or PRINCE2);
• Degree or HND in engineering or construction;
• Professional qualification or near qualification with ICE, CIWEM, APM, or similar;
• NEC3 or NEC4 PM Accreditation;
• CITB Site Management Safety Training desirable;
• Full UK Driving License.
