The role:

We are seeking a Project/Senior Project Manager to join our Central Rail Systems Alliance (CRSA) Enhancements team. The successful candidate will help secure and deliver multi-million-pound rail infrastructure projects and programs across our portfolio.

The role involves managing our experienced design and delivery teams across the UK and maintaining key client relationships to ensure CRSA remains the preferred partner. Travel to project sites, CRSA, and client offices may be required based on project needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Support business development through bid management and securing future opportunities.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards on all project sites.
  • Build and maintain relationships with alliance partners, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage supply chains and subcontracts confidently.
  • Oversee multiple projects, balancing demands and stakeholder expectations.

What you bring:

  • Experience managing complex multidisciplinary railway engineering projects across various GRIP stages.
  • Significant expertise in managing multidisciplinary railway engineering design teams.
  • Strong industry connections to identify future opportunities.
  • Ability to establish and nurture relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
  • Qualifications and memberships such as the Association for Project Management or equivalent engineering bodies.
