Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer

Overview:

The Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer will be part of the established Projects Team, overseeing Capital Equipment projects related to steam and hot water generating equipment from initial order through to final payment. This role involves close collaboration with design, manufacturing, site installation, and commissioning teams.

You will engage daily with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution including:

External:

1. B2B Customers/Clients
2. Client Consultants
3. Statutory Bodies (Insurance Authorities)

1. Design and Process Team
2. Production/Manufacturing Departments
3. Sales Team
4. Sub-Contractors
5. Commissioning and Outside Operations
6. Finance Team
7. Supply Chain
8. Directors

1. Working closely with both internal and external projects and resource teams to drive projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensuring that the scope of work is defined both internally, with the Projects Team, and externally with clients.
3. Risk registry and risk control within the project scope and creating mitigation plans for top priority risks to ensure a successful project delivery.
4. Communicating project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Managing the scope of projects to achieve pre-assigned milestones.
6. Management of order variations during project lifecycle.
7. Monitoring and reporting on project performance to the Leadership Team.
8. Participating with engineering contractors and vendors for contract and deliverable negotiations.

5. Experience in building successful projects teams and delivering projects to completion.

1. The salary will be dependent on the knowledge and experience of the individual.
2. Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:15 with 45 minutes break per day.
3. 22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 5 years of service).
