About The Job

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Safety & Control team in Sheffield. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering control systems.

Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial client engagement to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Salary: Up to £65,000, depending on skills and experience.

You Will

Summary of Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan and control multiple small and large projects efficiently.
  • Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate communication with teams and clients.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients, managing expectations and requirements.
  • Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure control panels meet specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Implement quality control and coordinate with QA teams.
  • Address health & safety matters and conduct project audits.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and forecast costs.
  • Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvements and promote best practices.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and stay updated on industry trends.
Summary of Requirements

Experience and Knowledge

  • Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent project management experience.
  • Proven project management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and financial skills.
  • Full driving license.
