We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager with strong retrofit experience. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing social enterprise at the forefront of sustainable retrofit, ideal for an emerging or mid-level construction or retrofit professional looking to advance into a project leadership role with meaningful impact.

As a Retrofit Project Manager, you will play a hands-on role in delivering large-scale domestic retrofit and housing projects across Wales and the North West. You will be involved from early procurement through to project sign-off, working closely with technical teams, clients, and residents to ensure projects are completed smoothly, efficiently, and with maximum social value. You will join a supportive PMO environment, collaborating with Retrofit Assessors, Coordinators, and Advisors to deliver projects in compliance with PAS 2035 standards. The role emphasizes continuous learning, professional development, and mentorship, supporting your growth whether you are newly qualified or ready to take on more responsibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Manage retrofit projects through procurement, installation, and sign-off stages
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure effective coordination
  • Monitor quality, safety, performance, and timelines across multiple projects
  • Engage with residents, clients, and stakeholders with a customer-first approach
  • Support compliance with PAS 2035 and other relevant standards
  • Review designs, submit materials requests, and maintain project documentation
  • Contribute to post-project case studies, evaluations, and reporting
Ideal candidate skills:
  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude
  • 12-24+ months experience in construction, retrofit, or housing project delivery
  • Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Project management skills (PRINCE2 or similar preferred)
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and funding streams
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel regularly to sites and client locations
  • Construction-related degree, NVQ, or RICS progress
  • Familiarity with PAS 2035, TrustMark, and social housing frameworks

This is your chance to play a central role in creating meaningful change in a purpose-driven, professional environment where collaboration is key.
