Unknown developer in Reading is seeking an experienced Site/Project Manager to lead a c.30-unit residential new build from start to handover. The role offers a temp-to-perm path and the chance to progress to a 250-unit site near Oxford as the pipeline develops.

The successful candidate will manage subcontractors, drive safety standards and liaise with clients and the wider site team within a supportive regional structure.

Qualifications

• Experience as a No. 1 Site Manager or Project Manager on residential new build schemes.
• Ability to manage a site through to finish and handover.
• Strong communication and delivery-focused approach.
• Full driving licence.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer for an experienced Site/Project Manager to take charge of finishing out a c.30-unit new build housing scheme in Reading, part of a wider ongoing development.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering genuine long-term security, with a strong potential move onto a 250-unit site near Oxford once the Reading scheme completes — a great chance to progress with a business that's got live pipeline for the right person.

The Role

• Take ownership of a c.30-unit residential site through to final completion and handover
• Manage subcontractors, trades, and programme to ensure quality and deadlines are hit
• Liaise with clients, NHBC/warranty providers, and the wider site team
• Drive health & safety standards and site compliance throughout
• Report into a supportive regional/contracts management structure

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a No. 1 Site Manager or Project Manager on residential new build schemes
• Comfortable managing a site through to finish/handover stage
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, delivery-focused approach
• Full driving licence
