Project Manager (Regulatory Change & Remediation)
Salary: up to £80,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Flexible Location: Fully Remote/WFH, or Hybrid in Bath
Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering regulatory change or remediation projects in the financial services sector? As a trusted recruitment partner to an established wealth and investment management company in the South West, we are seeking a Project Manager with exceptional communication skills and expertise in financial regulations to lead strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will analyse complex regulatory requirements, translate them into actionable plans, and manage projects across various business areas to enhance platform capabilities, ensure compliance, and support business growth. This includes driving regulatory change and remediation projects, engaging stakeholders, mitigating risks, and providing training to facilitate smooth transitions.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is open to candidates across the UK, offering flexible remote working with periodic visits to the Bath office or a hybrid model for those local to the area. If you have the skills and experience required for this challenging opportunity, we encourage you to apply!

Your Role

  1. Manage regulatory change and remediation projects from inception to completion.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress.
  3. Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring safe and compliant project delivery.
  4. Prepare and review project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  5. Provide training and support to teams impacted by regulatory changes.

About You
  1. Extensive project management experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on regulatory change or remediation.
  2. Strong skills in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including experience working with senior stakeholders in legal and compliance settings.
  4. Proven ability to analyse complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  5. Proficiency in project management tools and software, with strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  6. A proactive problem solver who works independently, takes initiative, and drives projects to successful completion.
  7. Experience within financial services, ideally with investment platform exposure.
  8. Demonstrated success in managing regulatory change or remediation projects.
  9. Relevant degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field a plus.
