Project Manager Plumbing & Heating

Location: Commutable to Hatfield (70:30 split between office and site)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

The role of the Project Manager Plumbing & Heating will involve:

1. Managing projects related to the design, supply, and installation of underfloor heating systems into predominantly new build developments, with some renovation projects.
2. Overseeing all elements of each project from start to finish, including labour, budgets, procurement, design, installation, and commissioning.
3. Liaising with site management, direct labour, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Producing health and safety documentation for all projects.
5. Identifying and managing risks, ensuring they are documented.
6. Managing circa 30-40 live projects simultaneously.
7. Handling project values ranging from £10,000 up to £2,000,000.

The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager Plumbing & Heating with:

• Experience working for a specialist subcontractor within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of underfloor heating/plumbing and heating is desirable but not essential.
• Understanding of technical drawings.
• IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
• SMSTS / SSSTS certification is preferred.
• On-site/contracting awareness is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving license.
• CSCS card (renewable if expired).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
