Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team of pension and implementation analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle for both new and existing clients, from initiation through to closure. You will ensure that projects meet all client requirements and criteria, manage risks effectively, and report progress to steering groups. You will also build effective relationships to support the implementation and delivery of ongoing services, and seek opportunities to improve our processes through lessons learned.

How you'll make an impact

  • Management of the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure, including all associated project outputs.
  • Day-to-day management of projects ensuring they deliver against all client requirements and criteria outlined in the project initiation document.
  • Ensure project teams have a clear understanding of requirements; champion quality; integrate team efforts through status meetings and share appropriate information.
  • Manage risks optimally, including the development of contingency plans.
  • Report progress to steering groups.
  • Adhere to team standards, using best practices, project assurance criteria, and audit requirements.
  • Build effective relationships to support the management of the implementation and delivery of ongoing services.
  • Seek opportunities to develop and improve the implementation delivery for both existing and prospective clients through lessons learned.
  • Assist with the management of Errors & Omissions.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be agreed from time to time.

About You

  • 5 years of client-facing project management experience.
  • Prince2 Practitioner qualified.
  • Experience in pensions or financial services environment is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business, client, and project needs.
  • Ability to make timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks.
  • Promote the organizational mission and goals and demonstrate ways to achieve them.
  • Attention to detail is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office to an advanced level.
  • MS Project experience is essential.
  • Ability to manage own time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
