Job Description

A dynamic international payments Fintech is adding a Product Manager to the team as part of its growth and expansion plan. The dynamic, tech-led business serves clients across Europe and boasts household names as clients and partners.

The Product Owner will be primarily responsible for understanding customer needs, defining and prioritizing work with the software team, and ensuring the delivery of high-value product features. The role involves a strong focus on customer and market understanding, creating business value, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define product vision and road-map based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  2. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with significant customer and business value aligned with the product strategy.
  3. Accurately document customer needs and problems, and validate views with business stakeholders to inform the product backlog.
  4. Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and development, ensuring a balance of customer and business value reflecting business priorities.
  5. Collaborate with technology and other business areas to understand delivery options and constraints.
  6. Lead the planning and delivery of Sprints, ensuring effective communication and time estimations, and managing any impediments that may arise.
  7. Deliver “right-first-time” releases into live environments on time.
  8. Lead retrospectives to enable continuous improvement and monitor value delivered to customers and the business post-sprint releases.

Requirements:

A minimum of two years' experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  2. In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
  3. Exceptional communication skills and a desire to build strong relationships within the business.
