One of our large financial clients is currently looking for an experienced project manager with strong payments experience.

The role involves working on a payments optimisation project, currently using legacy payments technology.

The ideal candidate will have led projects involving changes to payments and will be familiar with the end-to-end development lifecycle, including making improvements, gathering requirements, working with vendors, and testing.

The focus of this role is to work on a regulatory project within Sales & Trading. Responsibilities include analyzing and documenting current controls, defining requirements for improvements (technology or non-technology), and working with stakeholders to implement changes within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

The individual will ensure detailed business cases, plans, and control processes are in place, evaluate potential impacts, and facilitate communication among relevant groups. Use data modeling to analyze findings and suggest strategic and operational improvements.

Document processes, system changes, and timelines, ensuring proper governance. Work closely with SMEs to inform senior stakeholders of potential impacts, options, and links between changes and infrastructure, enabling informed decision-making.

Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, gain consensus, and implement changes that maintain compliance and improve efficiency. Clearly articulate benefits and address uncertainties with stakeholders.
