Our client are an award-winning decorating and refurbishment company renowned for their work. With over 25 years of industry experience, they deliver a high standard of service across luxury residential and commercial projects throughout London. Their services range from painting, wallpapering and carpentry to plumbing, refurbishment and full project management.

The Role:

They are seeking a dependable and experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple high-end residential decorating projects across London. You will be managing 5 to 7 concurrent projects, coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring seamless communication between site teams, tradespeople, clients and main contractors. Based partly on site and partly in the office, you will play a key role in upholding our standards of excellence and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution and completion of multiple decorating and refurbishment projects
• Coordinate and manage on-site teams and subcontractors across various trades
• Ensure high-quality work, site safety, and compliance with timelines and budgets
• Maintain strong communication with main contractors, clients, and internal teams
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections and progress meetings
• Proactively resolve issues, delays, or conflicts on site
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to the senior leadership team
• Support procurement and scheduling of materials and labour
• Ensure client satisfaction and a smooth handover at project completion

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, refurbishment or decorating
• Excellent leadership, organisational and people management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Experience liaising with high-end residential clients and main contractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• A background in painting and decorating is highly desirable but not essential
