BYOMA in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Operations to drive the product development lifecycle from concept to global launch, collaborating with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales.

You will keep projects on track, manage risks, and ensure milestones are met while applying structure and cross-functional alignment. The role reports to Senior Project Manager and sits in the Operations department.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in project management/delivery in FMCG.
  • Experience in product development/innovation-led functions is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive risk management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with PD/Innovation to track product development milestones.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and regulatory approvals across markets.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align production timelines and freight decisions.
  • Coordinate warehouse dates and retail launch timelines.
  • Lead regular project meetings and keep leadership informed on status.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans.
  • Promote use of project tools (Monday.com) and train teams.

Role Purpose

As Project Manager for Operations, you’ll be the heartbeat of BYOMA’s product development and operations function, driving the successful delivery of our product development lifecycle from concept through to global launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain and Sales, you’ll ensure projects remain on track, risks are proactively managed, and key milestones are achieved. By bringing structure, clarity and alignment to complex projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering BYOMA to customers around the world.

Role Responsibilities
  • Product Development : Liaise with PD/ Innovation to track product development progress, ensuring sign-off milestones are met on time
  • Quality and Complaince - Ensure products meet regulatory requirements for different markets, tracking clinical testing progress, regulatory approvals, and compliance documentation to guarantee sellability across all regions.
  • Supply Chain : Work with Supply Chain teams to align on production timelines, ensuring optimal freight choices (prioritising ocean over air freight) to reduce costs.
  • Sales : Work with Sales to confirm warehouse dates, and retail launch timelines, ensuring products reach the market on schedule.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Organise and lead regular project meetings, keeping internal teams and senior leadership informed on project status, risks, and required actions
  • Project Risk Management: Identify and flag potential risks early, working with relevant teams to implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Process & Tool Optimisation: Champion the use of project management tools (Monday.com), providing training where needed and ensuring all teams leverage them effectively.
Role Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience working in a Project Management/Delivery role, within a FMCG; ideally you would also have experience in a Product Development/Innovation led function.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-oriented and adaptable, with a keen ability to navigate changing priorities.
  • Collaborative and enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders.
