About the Role

As the Project Manager (Operational Excellence), you will be responsible for delivering projects within time, scope, cost, and quality objectives to ensure customer satisfaction. This dynamic role involves managing project stakeholder relationships, customer expectations, and requirements, as well as integrating lessons learned from previous projects. Your ultimate goal will be to lead Operational Excellence System (OES) projects that drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Operational Excellence System (OES) projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Achieve project objectives (time, scope, cost, quality) to customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Define, implement, and drive a project team/organisation throughout all project phases, including managing people from other functions in a matrix organisation.
  • Ensure effective integration of lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, and contracts (internal or external) proactively.
  • Oversee the effective management of partners and suppliers.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the aerospace industry, preferably with a focus on Operational Excellence projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline).
  • Recognised Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with change management and leading organisational change initiatives.
