Are you an experienced Project Manager with delivery experience? Do you have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills? Are you organized, able to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities efficiently? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy challenges?

The Opportunity

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities throughout the contract or work package lifecycle, in line with the overall project schedule. The PM will ensure planning and delivery meet safety, quality, time, and cost parameters, reporting directly to a Senior Project Manager and managing activities related to the full lifecycle of a contract or work package.

Join a team at the heart of one of the UK's most significant engineering projects. As part of the Nuclear Island team, you'll play a key role in installing primary circuit equipment, including twin reactors, which are central to Hinkley Point C. Collaborate with contract partners to deliver high-quality engineering installations critical to the plant’s operation. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark project in nuclear energy and impact sustainable power's future.

Pay, Benefits, and Culture

The salary ranges from £60,000 to £70,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and flexible benefits such as parental leave, electric vehicle leasing, health insurance, discounts, and more.

At EDF UK, we promote flexibility whether you're in the office, on-site, or remote. We foster a collaborative, inclusive, and safe environment where everyone feels valued and celebrated. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, aiming for gender balance and representation from various backgrounds. We are a disability confident employer and will support reasonable adjustments during the application process.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will support the Senior Project Manager and work independently to ensure effective delivery of activities, applying project management principles to design and system activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Responsibilities include managing contracts, detailed schedules, leading project teams, managing budgets, risk logs, interfaces, quality plans, and change controls.

Who You Are

You hold a professional qualification in project management (e.g., APM PPQ) or similar, with knowledge of leadership in complex projects, CDM Regulations, and experience with estimating, scheduling, risk management, and Earned Value Management. A degree in engineering or construction is desirable but not essential. You have experience in engineering design, EPCM projects, construction, procurement, contract management, stakeholder engagement, and familiarity with NEC and FIDIC contracts.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
