Project Manager (NEC experience)

Location: London

Salary: £45k-£55k DOE plus benefits

Are you a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager with 5-8 years of experience, looking to take the lead on consultancy projects? Our client is seeking someone with a strong interest in infrastructure, a flair for managing complex programmes, and a desire to make a real difference. You will join their Infrastructure Performance Consultancy team, helping to shape the future of major projects, partnering with top infrastructure clients to deliver strategic, engineering-led advice - cutting costs, carbon, and inefficiency.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborating with project directors to shape project strategy from day one
  2. Defining success criteria and ensuring all teams are aligned
  3. Setting up and maintaining effective governance and resource planning in line with timelines and forecasts
  4. Managing financial performance, including invoicing and budgets
  5. Creating progress reports, risk registers, and programme updates
  6. Facilitating smooth communication between client teams and internal resources
About You:
  1. Degree in engineering/construction/project management or similar
  2. Solid understanding of NEC3/4 PSC contracts and experience managing advisory commissions within this framework
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Experience in infrastructure or construction, with a commercial mindset
  5. Ability to manage contractual risk, delivering successful project outcomes
