This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with strong NEC contract experience to join a growing construction consultancy offering genuine responsibility, professional development and the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of complex projects. You will take ownership of projects from a contractual and delivery perspective, working closely with clients, contractors and wider project teams.

Do you enjoy getting into the detail of programmes, risk and project administration while also dealing directly with clients and contractors? This specialist consultancy provides project delivery and construction consultancy services across a range of construction disciplines, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle. The business is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering a high-quality service to its clients.

You will manage the project and contractual administration of NEC projects, acting as a key point of contact between clients, contractors and project teams. Day to day, this will include managing NEC communications and notifications, reviewing programmes and logic, assessing risks and key dates, attending project meetings and providing clear reporting and advice to clients.

This is not a purely administrative contract role. The ideal candidate will have genuine construction project experience and be able to understand what is happening on a project, challenge programmes, identify potential issues and communicate effectively with the people responsible for delivering the work. A civil engineering or construction background would be particularly well suited.

The role also offers excellent scope for professional development, with support available for NEC accreditation, chartership and postgraduate study in construction law. For the right individual, there is potential to progress into a senior leadership position as the business continues to grow.

• Ambitious, mature and looking for long-term progression
