This role offers the chance to work on high-profile, creative projects with prestigious clients in the museum, cultural, and heritage sectors. As the successful candidate, you will be instrumental in guiding projects from concept through to delivery—ensuring they are on time, on budget, and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with in-house creatives, architects, and external consultants to ensure project excellence.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee procurement processes and compliance with JCT/NEC contracts, CDM regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure project alignment with funder expectations (e.g., National Lottery Heritage Fund, Failte Ireland, Arts Council).
  • Represent the agency in client meetings, stakeholder presentations, and site inspections.
  • Contribute to new business proposals, costings, and pitching processes.
  • Minimum 8 years' project management experience in the design, cultural attractions, or museum/heritage sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across varying scales and budgets.
  • Strong financial, scheduling, and strategic project planning abilities.
  • Skilled in leading internal and external project teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with RIBA work stages and design processes.
  • Understanding of health and safety, CDM regulations, building legislation, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience working with publicly funded or grant-based projects.
  • Prior work within a Local Authority or similar regulatory context.
  • A background in museum fit-out, exhibition fabrication, or interpretive planning.

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid working offered (minimum Leicester HQ studio presence required).
  • UK and international travel will be required.
  • Some out-of-hours work or overnight stays may be needed, depending on project demands.

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience).
  • Opportunity for career growth and advancement within a global creative agency.
  • Work on meaningful, culturally significant projects in a supportive, collaborative environment.
