Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial and Project Management team in Bolton or Stoke. You will lead end-to-end project delivery across renewable energy, major infrastructure and development projects.

You will manage budgets, programmes, risk, and change while coordinating internal teams and external contractors, producing client reports and cost forecasts, and supporting new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with construction contractors and managing delivery.
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • APM, CEng, NEC or similar qualification (or working towards).
  • A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK is required for site visits.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects that shape tomorrow SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people-first culture. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our established Commercial and Project Management team of 11 in Bolton or Stoke. In this role, you’ll lead the commercial delivery of high-impact projects across a diverse portfolio including renewable energy (Wind, Solar, BESS), major infrastructure (HS2, linear cable routes, hydrogen pipelines) and Industrial & Commercial Development projects.

The Role

You’ll manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards, while building strong client relationships.
