Job summary

ECI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead program and project management efforts for client engagements. The role focuses on CPMO activities, governance, risk management and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects.

You will coordinate across client sites, drive project milestones, report to leadership and mentor project teams while optimizing workflows and templates. A strong background in medical devices and software projects is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of work experience in project management or related field.
• 10+ years Project Management experience in the Medical Device industry with previous experience managing software related projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects involving excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal written, and presentation).
• Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution.
• Ability to draw conclusions and make business recommendations based on cross-functional team input.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Project.
• PMP Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize use of CPMO project management tools, techniques, and activities across all client sites
• Provide updates and project visibility to the executive management/leadership team
• Support CPMO policies, processes, template and tools development
• Responsible for the overall program/project management specifically focused on ensuring overall client satisfaction and quality of delivery, and performance of the engagement
• Manage dependencies across multiple projects and tracking benefits
• Manage risk to projects, ECI and its affiliates.
• Create project reporting metrics for each client/project.
• Develop and maintain a detailed Project Timeline for the activities included in the scope of the project
• Develop resource Plan, and facilitate resource loading (when, how many and necessary skills) to successfully execute the project
• Develop workflow for project optimization
• Reduce redundancy by being a central point for lessons learned, templates and best practice.
• Utilizes appropriate project management tools and techniques to drive project execution
• Manage resources for projects by managing project staffing, providing earned value management, tracking project, delivering training and mentoring team members, and assigning roles and responsibilities.
• Identify consultant value, opportunities to increase consultant utilization, etc.
• Provides feedback regarding consultant performance.
• Regularly review resource levels against timeline elements and adjust accordingly
• Facilitate project-specific training and onboarding of team members from deployment through the completion of the project

About The Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects/programs. The Sr. Project Manager will lead or support the Centralized Program Management Office (CPMO) activities of the organization as below:

What You'll Do

Project and Program Management

• Regularly review resource levels against timeline elements and adjust accordingly

Client Management

• Manage escalation(s) of concerns, delays, observations, watch outs through agreed upon escalation process
• Facilitate mitigation, where possible, of any project delays
• Identify client grievances to be addressed immediately
• Regularly update client and company management as to the status of the project and / or project elements for which consultant is responsible
• Immediately advise client when issues impacting the project timelines and / or compliance are discovered
• Facilitate face to face project meetings as appropriate
• Ensure overall client satisfaction.
