Project Manager (Mechanical)

Are you a Project Manager with a background in managing mechanical services on new builds or similar looking for exceptional career development, a tight-nit growing company and a place where you get you get instant exposure to a variety of exciting new build projects?


Join a dynamic company that has been delivering expert mechanical design solutions for nearly three decades. They specialise in providing comprehensive design packages for renewable heating systems, domestic hot water, fire suppression, and ventilation. Their projects span new build developments and a wide range of commercial applications, combining sustainability with cutting-edge engineering.


In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical works across multiple new build sites, typically valued between £500k-£3m. You'll manage planning, installation, and commissioning, ensuring projects meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Leading subcontractors and internal teams, you'll coordinate site activities, control budgets and procurement, and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants. You'll also be responsible for key project documentation and chairing regular site and technical meetings.

THE ROLE



  • Managing mechanical works on new build projects from start to finish

  • Planning and overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems

  • Making sure everything meets safety, quality, and design standards

  • Coordinating subcontractors and internal teams to keep work on track

  • Preparing key documents like safety plans, progress reports, and handover manuals

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM


THE PERSON



  • Project Manager (Mechanical) or similar

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Knowledge of Heating, Fire Suppression and Ventilation systems
