Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager for a 12-month contract based in Portsmouth. The role is an umbrella-based assignment at £50.84 per hour inside IR35, 37 hours per week.

The post requires an active SC clearance and will involve leading a multi-function project team to deliver objectives, building customer relationships, and delivering regular status updates.

• Project management experience within Defence/Aerospace or Manufacturing.
• Experience managing project risk and master schedules.
• Experience managing project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
• Identify threats to customer satisfaction and mitigate actions; interface with customers.
• Develop the project plan, including WBS and work packages; define execution methods per company processes.
• Provide regular status reporting and negotiate changes to promote customer satisfaction.

Our client has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join them on a 12-month contract with possible extension.

Role: Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Portsmouth

Hourly Rate: £50.84 per hour via an Umbrella company, inside IR35

Hours: 37 per week

Clearance: Active SC required

What you'll be doing:

• Project Managers shall lead the multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
• Project Managers shall build beneficial relationships with customers:
  • Identify threats to customer satisfaction and initiate effective mitigation actions.
  • Interface with internal & external Customers.
  • Provide regular status reporting.
  • Negotiate changes.
  • Act to promote customer satisfaction.
• Project Managers shall develop the project plan:
  • Create a project team environment that will promote success through proactive planning.
  • Confirm requirements with the Customer to define scope.
  • State the methods that shall be employed in the execution of the project, utilising standard Company processes and procedures.
  • Define the work breakdown structure and agree work packages with the multi-function project team.
